February has arrived and we still are getting over the New Year. How did this happen? It is amazing how fast the days, weeks and months fly by us. But with all this time speeding by, we find it hard to take a time-out to do a realistic review of our business.

It is extremely important to take the time to answer the following questions to see if we are moving the business forward or not.

• Take a stab at them:
• Are we still working towards the vision we set forth for the company?
• Did last year bring us closer to the company we want it to be?
• Were we able to take time to review our business plan and make the appropriate adjustments so we are one step closer to meeting our objectives?
• Do we know what is happening in our industry?
• Are we seeing more and more of our competitors moving operations elsewhere or worse no longer in existence?
• Are we still targeting the right market place or do we need to make a shift in who is buying our goods and /or services?
• How effective was our marketing, and were we able to meet our sales objectives?
• What are our 2010 sales objectives, how will we accomplish them?
• Are there hiccups in the operations, were the communications between our employees not as effective as it should ?
• Do we need to hire, reorganize, or establish new personnel policies?
• What are our short term and long term goals? Did we meet last years?
• What about the financial perspective of the company? Was last year good, what will this year look like?
